My dear brothers and sisters, let your heart be still 

Quick to listen, slow to speak, may God renew our will 

When the world is aching—wars, hunger, fear and pain 

Let our tongues be bridges of grace, not words in vain 

Lord, I’m feeling weary, quick to anger, quick to cry 

Calm my heart, bring healing, help me speak Your light 

Gift of grace, let Your words fall from my lips like rain 

Speak with love, speak with truth, take away my shame 

In my weakness, make my voice a comfort, not a wound 

Let kindness be the echo of Your love in every room 

Children trembling in the hallways, trauma fills the air 

Mass loss, displacement, grief we’re tempted not to bear 

When frustration rises, when my patience runs so thin 

Give me words of gentleness—let Your peace give in 

Even when I’m tired and stressed, let grace flow through my breath 

Shape my tone with humility, let kindness overcome unrest 

Let not my tongue sin, but bring hope to broken hearts 

May every phrase I utter mirror Your love, Lord, from the start
